The weather, the environment, infections one or all are causing a lot of people to be unwell. A lot of chest infections around and people seem to be getting repeating bouts. I have not been well for the first time in six years been to the Dr four times. Not able to sleep much.
NZ make match wood of France
The French were no match for the All Blacks last night. New Zealand too, fast too and all over France through out the game.
Had a few tough nights recently
Not sure why but have not slept that well the last few nights. Need to be more careful what I do.
Top All Blacks Injured
Many people are unhappy that they have expensive tickets to this Fridays game and will not get to see their idols play. Some are hinting that this is just a way to rest the big name players for the more significant games. Others are saying the All Blacks are too old. I guess time will tell all.
Government steps in
After the problems with “Party Central” and the trains and buses the governmrnt will tke over the organisition of future game in Auckland. Can’t afford any more adverse publicity might cost them in the polls. Ready to take credit but ever so reluctant to tle blane for any problems as there was last week.
Weather Has Broken
The wonderful summer like weather we hve been experiencing for the last few weeke has broken and the rain is here. The Rugby Cup games will be held in less than ideal conditions today. There is every posibility that the walk up crowds will not be up to expectations as many will not want to sit in the rain or travel on wet roads with high density trafic. Some close games and less have been played and this will shoe that all is not as predictable as was thought. Early indications are the event will face a loss of at leasr $20 million dollars.
World Rugby Cup Starts
Well after all the build up the Rugby is now under way. The All Blacks kicked off and won although many fell it was a lack luster performance. The rail system failed many and the system could note cope with the crowds. The Party Central was a over run buy the response from the public. It seems that all the planning that had been done had not been done properly. It seems that there could have been up to 2000 people who were failed buy the system. The All Blacks lack luster performance in the second half will have some people wondering.
Feeling a little better
I have had a bad chest infection for some weeks after two lots of treatment I am making some progress. Still not back to normal but a lot better. Still some hearing loss in the left ear and found it difficult to talk a lot this afternoon.
Time & Time Again
Well the time ticks by and we can do nothing about it but try and make the best use of it we can. It is a bit like money you can only spend it once and you need to be sure that it is not flittered away.
Uneventful Shopping
A great day sunny warm and beautiful. Thought we would go shopping as we needed a couple of things. Traveled to three different areas but could not get what we wanted. Did find some metalic paper which will be good for the EOY certificates but that was not even on the list. Saved the trip from being a total loss. Had a nice lunch out.
